The Cascade
Cascading green leaves in Microsoft's Madrid inner courtyards
The Challenge
To create inspiring places in a first-class working place where a door separates the technology from the magic (of plants).
The Solution
The soft, organic design and leafy dark green plants covering the Minigarden systems in three inner courtyards result in natural green arrangements whose descending order confers a dynamic scale to the project.

of CO2 extracted per year from the air producing 100kg of oxygenThe new Microsoft office in Madrid (renewed in 2013) is now a tremendously functional, flexible and multipurpose workspace, with modern, cheerful designs, lots of light and open spaces, where collaboration and teamwork environments are encouraged with formal/informal meeting rooms and high-level technological and audiovisual equipment. There is also space for green, rest areas, where the rules for reducing environmental impact are really demanding.
